Your Access

1 What We Collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to sell and deliver products to you and support your business. This may include:
- Contact details — your name, business name, job title, email address, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses;
- Order information — products purchased, order history, quotes and account details;
- Enquiries — information you send us through our contact form, email, phone or live chat, including details of the software and hardware you use;
- Website usage — information collected through cookies and analytics tools, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location.
We do not store your credit card details — see our Security Policy. You can browse our website without telling us who you are, but we need your details to process an order or respond to an enquiry.
2 How We Collect It
We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, place an order, request a quote, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us. We also collect some information automatically when you use our website (see Cookies & Analytics).
3 How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- process, deliver and support your orders, quotes and returns;
- manage your account and respond to your enquiries;
- confirm product compatibility with your software and equipment;
- send you order updates and, if you have agreed, marketing emails;
- improve our website, products and services; and
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your personal information to make decisions about you by solely automated means that could significantly affect your rights or interests.
4 Who We Share It With
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it where needed to run our business, including with:
- couriers and freight carriers, to deliver your order;
- our bank and payment providers, to process payments;
- our e-commerce platform, email, live chat and IT service providers, which host and support our systems;
- analytics and advertising providers, such as Google (see Cookies & Analytics); and
- professional advisers, and government bodies or law enforcement where required or authorised by law.
We require our service providers to handle your information securely and only for the purpose we provide it.
5 Overseas Disclosure
Some of our service providers, such as our analytics, advertising and customer-support tools, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6 Marketing Emails
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them or where otherwise permitted under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking it or by contacting us. We will still send you essential messages about your orders.
7 Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies — small files stored by your browser — to keep your cart and login working, remember your preferences, and understand how our site is used.
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and Google Ads to show relevant advertising, including on other websites. These tools may use cookies to collect information about your visits. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at Google’s privacy page, and opt out of personalised ads through Google Ad Settings.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, but some parts of our website, such as the cart and checkout, may not work properly without them.
8 Storing & Protecting Your Information
We hold personal information electronically — in our e-commerce platform, email, accounting and other business systems, some of which are run by our service providers — and occasionally in hard-copy form, such as printed order paperwork. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records), then securely destroy or de-identify it.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, and to destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. Read our Security Policy for details, including how we respond to a data breach.
9 Accessing & Correcting Your Information
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Many details can be updated yourself by logging in to My Account. For other requests, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days, and there is no charge to make a request. If we can’t give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why in writing and how you can complain.
10 Links to Other Websites
Our website may link to other websites, such as manufacturer or software vendor sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please read their privacy policies before providing any information.
